Fusion of Ideas is an innovative technology company that caters to both consumers and businesses to customize and protect their digital world. We offer two unique product lines: DigitalTechToo, a laser engraving tool for one-of-a-kind customization, and StealthArmor, the industry’s premium heat-bonding adhesive shield that protects against scratches and dings.
Founded in 2003, Fusion of Ideas began as an ordinary kiosk seen planted along the large hallways of shopping malls. Fusion of Ideas initially sold protective covers for cell phones as well as a few other accessories; later, a separate laser engraving space was added. As smart personal electronic devices continued to gain in popularity year over year, particularly Apple products such as the iPhone®, iPod® and MacBook®, consumer interest and demand for ways to customize and protect their devices also increased. In 2007, Fusion of Ideas shed the kiosk and opened its first retail store at the Irvine Spectrum, Orange County’s premier outdoor mall in Irvine, Calif. The Fusion of Ideas retail store serves more than three thousand customers each month.
Fusion of Ideas is led by Russ Taylor, an entrepreneurial giant, who followed his instinct as smart personal electronic devices have continued to increase in popularity, to invest in the customization and protection market. During his spare time, Taylor races a Mitsubishi Evolution X in the National Auto Sport Association and the Redline Time Attack organization. In fact, Taylor’s Fusion of Ideas product line StealthArmor was originally developed to protect car exteriors in automotive racing. Taylor believed the same technology that shielded cars from flying rocks and asphalt could also protect consumer electronic devices. Today, Taylor’s discovery has allowed thousands of consumers to protect their valuable devices in a way that is both stylish and organic to the device.
